Opepe

At East Brothers, we’ve been responsibly importing Opepe timber for the past few decades, building considerable expertise in large cross-section, structurally graded Opepe timber.

Opepe

Why use Opepe

Opepe timber is a standout choice in construction, thanks to its exceptional strength and durability. Its high structural grading makes it ideal for demanding applications, from heavy-duty construction projects to bridge building. We particularly appreciate its suitability for large cross-section uses, where reliability and longevity are critical.

Beyond its strength, Opepe’s natural resistance to decay and marine borers makes it perfect for marine applications, including dock and pier construction. It also excels in outdoor environments, making it a top pick for decking. The wood’s resilience against the elements ensures that Opepe decking stays strong and beautiful for years, even in harsh conditions.
