Custom solid wood flooring
Herringbone wood flooring is a popular pattern for bespoke hardwood floors, known for its timeless elegance and classic appeal. This pattern involves rectangular wood planks laid out in a zigzag pattern, creating a striking visual effect that enhances the aesthetics of any space.
Plank Size:
- Width: Typically ranges from 25mm to 50mm
- Length: Custom lengths, often shorter than straight plank flooring to achieve the herringbone effect, usually between 300mm and 600mm.
Bespoke hardwood flooring
Bespoke hardwood flooring refers to custom-designed and crafted wood floors tailored to meet specific aesthetic and functional preferences of a client. Unlike our engineered hardwood flooring, bespoke hardwood flooring involves a more personalised approach, allowing for unique designs, patterns, and finishes. Here are some key aspects of bespoke hardwood flooring:
Customization Options
Wood Species: Clients can choose from a variety of wood species, such as oak, walnut, maple, cherry, and exotic woods. Each species has distinct characteristics in terms of color, grain pattern, and hardness.
Plank Size: Customisation of plank width and length can create different visual effects. Wider planks can make a space feel larger and more open, while narrow planks can add a sense of detail and texture.
Finish: Bespoke floors offer a range of finishes, from high-gloss and satin to matte and distressed. Finishes can also include hand-scraping, wire-brushing, or custom staining to achieve the desired look and feel.
