THE NEW MR & MRS RIDOUT
There’s been happy news amongst the timber stacks and woodland tracks here at East Bros. Our Timber Buyer & Forester, Edward, is now a newly married man after tying the knot with the lovely Georgia.
Edward is a valued part of the East Brothers family, we’re pleased to say he finally hung his chainsaw up for the day to celebrate the occasion in style. From everyone across the yard, the forests, and the office — we send our warmest congratulations and very best wishes to the happy couple.
Here’s to a long and happy life together.

East Bros Fun Day 2023!
We had an open day for the families of our employees on July 1st 2023!
It was a great hit and the kids absolutely loved the bouncy castles. Congratulations to Barry for winning the forklift time trial race….you managed to avoid squashing any of our cones or crashing the forklift!!! Congratulations also goes to Robert Dixon for winning bang the nail into the softwood competition. Robert smashed it in 3 hits! And finally well done to the Holmes/Hodges brood for winning the tug of war competition. We expect to see you all back next year to protect your champion titles! A great day all round and a special thanks to our good friends at West Dean Club for catering and cooking for us! Steve & Sarah were amazing! Bring on 2024
